Due to
replacement of computers in progress both in Hawaii and Mitaka, the
operation of STARS and MASTARS will change as follows. Date and time of
each event are subject to change. Date and time is shown in Hawaiian
Standard Time (HST).
From February 25
The new STARS has started as well as the new MASTARS. At that point,
former STARS users have an access to the new STARS just by resetting the
password. You can reset your password once because STARS and MASTARS
share the single password. After that, STARS users have an access to
MASTARS and vice versa. You are able to see all the archived
data on the new STARS. But,
MASTARS has only data after 12/26/2007 for the telescope status.
Although MASTARS do not have data extract function for the telescope
status like the one MASTARS has, GRAPH/CSV is available on MASTARS.
Please consult helpdesk if you need to see the telescope status between
2/20 and 2/24.

The beta version of new MASTARS or MASTARS(B) now in operation
in Mitaka will be shut down shortly.
English text is now under preparation. 現在進行中のハワイと三鷹の計算機リプレイスに伴い、STARSおよびMASTARSの運用は以下のようになります。なお、日付は変更される可能性があります。最新の情報はこのページに掲載します。 なお、日付はハワイ時間です。
2月25日から新しいSTARSが稼働しました。新しいMASTARSも使えます。この時点で STARSのユーザは、パスワードを再設定するだけで新しいSTARSが使えます。このパスワード再設定はSTARSとMASTARSで全く同じですので、どちらか一方で行なえば完了です。これ以降、STARS/MASTARS のアカウント、パスワードは同期します。新しいSTARSでは、過去のデータの登録作業が
終了し、すべてのアーカイブデータを見ることができます。
ただし、
MASTARSには望遠鏡ステータスについては、2007年12月26日以降のデータのみが保管されています。また、
MASTARSにはSTARSにあるような望遠鏡ステータスの切り出し機能はありませんが、GRAPH/CSVは利用可能です。2/20-24の間に望遠鏡ステータスを調べたい場合には、helpdeskにご相談ください。

なお、三鷹で運用されている新しいMASTARSのベータ版、MASTARS(B)はまもなく運用を停止します。
