In response to the shortage of masks and other protective equipment at medical facilities on the Island of Hawaii due to the spread of COVID-19, Subaru Telescope has donated masks, shoe covers, and gowns, which are prepared for telescope maintenance, to Hilo Medical Center. 

Subaru Telescope will continue to operate with the safety of its staff and the local community as its top priority.
