Our `ohana (family) at Subaru Telescope would like to send our Aloha to the Maui community. We are deeply saddened and heartbroken by the wildfires and incomprehensible loss of life, property, and livelihoods. Our thoughts are with every family, individual, and life affected by this unprecedented tragedy.
In times like these, words often fall short in conveying the depth of our sorrow. Yet, as a member of the community of this beautiful state of Hawai`i, we pledge our unwavering solidarity and support. To those affected by the fires on Maui and across the state, we stand with you today and for the many tomorrows it will take to rebuild and heal.
To our neighbors, friends, and everyone who has been affected, know that you are not alone in this journey of recovery.
