Around 3:00 pm (Hawaii local time) on June 7, 2022, there was an accident in which a part of the telescope cable was caught in the cable winder of the altitude axis of the Subaru telescope and the telescope stopped. Fortunately, there was no human damage, and there was no damage to the telescope body or the instruments, but it was necessary to disassemble and repair the part that was involved. Therefore, from June 7th to June 12th, all night observations are cancelled.
