PFS Metrology Camera System

Detail : Metrology Camera System is attached to the Cassegrain Focus of the telescope and measures the position of the ~2,400 fibers on the Prime Focal plane using a large format CMOS sensor. PFS consists of the Prime Focus Instrument, Spectrograph System (four spectrographs) on the 4th floor in the dome building, the fiber cables connecting Prime Focus Instrument and Spectrograph, and Metrology Camera System at the Cassegrain Focus of the telescope.
