For PFS (Prime Focus Spectrograph), the four identical spectrograph modules are installed on the fourth floor of the telescope enclosure (This image shows one spectrograph). The spectrograph modules obtain spectra of approximately 2,400 celestial objects simultaneously in one exposure. PFS consists of the Prime Focus Instrument, Spectrograph System (four spectrograph modules) on the 4th floor in the dome building, the fiber cables connecting Prime Focus Instrument and Spectrograph, and Metrology Camera System at the Cassegrain Focus of the telescope.
