Venue
The workshop will take place at Kilauea Military Camp. KMC is located within the confines of the Volcanoes National Park. It occupies about 50 acres of the park's 300,000+ acres, and its history is as old as the Volcanoes National Park, having been established in the same year 1916.
Kilauea Military Camp (KMC)
The KMC is not an active military camp - you will not be woken at sunrise by a bugler playing Reveille! Rather, it is a recreation camp intended principally for military personnel, their families and guests.We have a block booking for accommodation at the KMC.

Volcanoes National Park is a United States National Park located in the State of Hawai'i on the Big Island. It has two active volcanoes: Kilauea and Mauna Loa.

Big Island
Big Island is the largest island of the Hawaiian islands. This island is built from five volcanoes: Kohara, Hualalai, Kilauea, Mauna Loa, and Mauna Kea. Top of the Mauna Kea is the "second" best locations for ground-base astronomy next to the Antarctic plateau.
