A sampling of objects found in the Suprime-Cam data of the SXDS. The upper left image shows a galaxy cluster at about 7 billion light years way (a redshift of z ~ 0.7). The galaxies in the cluster are uniformly red due to their high redshift. The lower left image shows a small gourp of galaxies. The spiral galaxy in the lower right panel may be ineracting with a dwarf galaxy to its lower right. The teardrop shaped galaxy in the upper right panel is likely to have suffered from a collision with another galaxy.
