• Install filaments to holder casettes
• Install casettes to the upper chamber
• Close chamber
• Vacuum pump down
  • Roughing with rotary pumps
  • High-vacuum with cryo-pumps
• Ion bombardment
• Wetting
• Ion bombardment, if necessary
• Deposit (or Firing)
• Vent and open chamber
• Check the mirror
  • Scotch-tape test
  • Visual examination
