We propose to conduct a joint mapping of Hα and [O iii]λ5007 emitters with our custom-made pair narrow-band (NB) filters on SWIMS, targeting a rich proto-cluster HS1700+64 (HS1700) at z=2.3. It shows two prominent filamentary structures traced by 7 Lyα blobs (LABs). These pair NB filters were designed specifically to capture these two strong optical emission lines at z=2.28–2.31, where the HS1700 proto-cluster exactly falls in. Moreover, we can also combine with the existing deep Lyα NB imaging of the same target. With this triple NB survey, we will 1) sample star forming galaxies associated to HS1700 with multiple detections of emission lines, and map the proto-cluster and its surrounding structures, 2) explore environment-dependent AGN activities with [O iii]/Hα line ratios, 3) trace the H i gas distribution associated to the structures from the Lyα/Hα line ratios, and 4) discuss the powering sources of the LABs. Making use of the simultaneous dual-band observation of SWIMS, we can also take deep images with J1 and J2 in parallel, which will capture the Balmer/4000Å-break to distinguish between dust attenuation and old stellar populations. We emphasize that S22A is the last opportunity where we can conduct this unique survey of this northern target with SWIMS on Subaru.
