We propose to observe CO absorption lines toward IRAS 08572+3915, UGC 05101 and IRAS 01250+2832 to check the time variability of the velocities of its absorbing columns. Although molecular tori are the key element of the unified model of Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs), the exact nature of the tori is still controversial. In order to reveal physical conditions of the tori in AGN directly, we have been making high-resolution spectroscopic observations of obscured AGNs. We observe fundamental ro-vibrational absorption lines of gaseous CO in M-band using the bright, compact central engine as a background continuum source. The results of observations implies that IRAS 08572+3915 shows the time variability of the peak velocities of 12CO absorption lines. The three objects are very unique AGNs in the sense that they show very strong absorption lines with many velocity components.
Hence, we propose to observe CO absorption lines toward IRAS 08572+3915, UGC 05101 and IRAS 01250+2832 again to check the time variability of the velocities of its absorbing columns. This will be quite a unique opportunity to constrain physical conditions and geometrical distribution of putative molecular tori in AGNs.
