Confirming Transiting Neptunes and M Dwarf Planets From HAT

(Abstract)
We propose for two nights on Subaru/HDS to obtain high-precision RV 
observations of four very promising candidate transiting planets from the HAT 
ground-based transit surveys. Two of the candidates are potential Neptune-size 
planets, one is a possible Super-Earth, and 3 are around low-mass (M or late K)
 dwarf stars. The proposed observations will allow us to confirm these planets,
 measure their masses, and characterize the host stars. If confirmed, these 
planets would represent a valuable addition to the small sample of well-
characterized low-mass planets and planets around M dwarfs.
