 Systematic study of QSO radiative feedback in high-z Universe II

(Abstract)
We propose an extended study of our past observation for QSO at z=4.89, in 
which we have obtained a clear trend that LAEs distribute in a ring-like 
structure around the QSO to avoid its nearby. This result implies that strong 
UV radiation feedback from the QSO acts as a photoevaporation that effectively 
make a deficit for low-mass galaxies like LAEs. We'd like to carry out a wide 
field imaging with Suprime-Cam targeting for 14 regions under local strong UV 
background by QSOs at 2<z<3 in order to systematically study the radiative 
feedback effect on the LAEs. We have observed 6 QSO regions in S14A, and we 
would like to observe rest of 8 QSO regions in S15A. The deep and wide broad-
band and narrow-band imaging would reveal the variation of perspective LAE 
clustering structures. We will study (1) the luminosity and clustering 
differences of LAEs between QSO regions and the fields, (2) possible 
correlation between these properties and the distance from the QSO, (3) a 
comparison of these characteristics among the target QSOs with wide luminosity 
ranges to see the difference related to the strength of UV background 
radiation, and (4) the possible correlation between the LAE clustering and 
the SMBH mass and the Eddington ratio to understand the feedback timescale.
