SCExAO collaborators

SCExAO instrumtent consits of many modules, which involves science and technology demonstration. Below some of its modules are discussed.
The SEEDS team
Much of SCExAO's scientific activities is a direct extension of the SEEDS survey, so we work closely with the SEEDS team led by Motohide Tamura. A document outlining the strategy of the SEEDS survey can be found here. More information can be found here.
Collaborators' websites
Additional information can be found on websites managed by the teams and individuals we work with.- The CHARIS website describes the instrument capabilities (very useful for our observers !)
- The MagAO and MagAO-X projects led by Jared Males and Laird Close.
- Frantz Martinache and the Kernel project at Observatoire de la cote d'Azur. Frantz's team is developing wavefront control for high contrast imaging from focal plane images.
- The Green Flash, led by Damien Gratadour, is actively participating to the development of real-time control software.
- Hatem Ltaief and Dalal Sukkari at KAUST's Extreme Computing Research Center develop high performance linear algebra algorithms and software that is critical to SCExAO's wavefront control.
- Johnas Kuhn at ETHZ develops advanced vortex coronagraphs.
- The THD team at Observatoire de Paris explores high contrast imaging techniques and specializes in developing the Self-Coherent Camera.
