Tweet Buttons Installed on Subaru's Website
October 11, 2010
Tweet buttons have been installed to accompany articles appearing since the summer of 2010 in the "Science Results" and "Topics" sections of the Subaru website. Subaru's website readers may now easily share information by tweeting with their acquaintances about the Subaru Telescope.
Twitter, Inc. offers social networking services, allowing users to send and read other users' messages called "tweets". Messages are usually short and were originally limited to 140 words or less. The tweet button is a small widget (a computer mini-application) that helps Twitter customers to easily submit a comment about the articles they are viewing.
Subaru Telescope is using the official tweet button provided by Twitter for the convenience of users of its website. Once a user clicks the button, a tweet form appears, filled in with the title and URL of the article being viewed. All of the preparations for tweeting have now been made. Please use the tweet button to share information about Subaru Telescope.
