At 10:30 am HST, the Director of Subaru Telescope announced the successful re-alminization of the telescope's primary mirror. This is the culmination of the first month's efforts to improve some of the telescope's key components. We began remounting the primary mirror onto the telescope and testing the system. Details will be reported in the next issue of topics.
