3. History

JNLT/Subaru Technical Report series included the technical papers on the telescope, enclosure, instruments, and so on. Published semiannually and distributed to the observatories in the world. The 8.3 m optical/IR telescope known as Subaru was called JNLT (Japan National Large Telescope) in earlier stage of its construction.

Subaru Telescope Preprint and Reprint Series is intended to be inclusive;

  • scientific and engineering research papers
  • papers at the stage of being accepted / in press / published
  • authors affiliation not limited to NAOJ/Subaru Telescope

Production office: Saeko S. Hayashi @ Hilo - numbering, Nobunari Kashikawa @ Mitaka - collect manuscripts and forward to the printer, Hisae Higashio @ Mitaka - distribution etc.
