Observation and Completion Status

  1. OBs will be selected based on observing constraints set by PIs, rank of the program, priority of targets, telescope slewing time, desired filters, etc.
  2. Initial Quality Assessment: data quality is initially assesed by night crew during the night of observations.
  3. Final Quality Assessment: Final assessment will be made independently (i.e., by a different staff) at a later date.
  4. Subaru Telescope will inform PIs about progress of their programs. If it is slow, we may ask you to relax observing constraints further in order to increase the probability of OBs being scheduled and executed.
