09: Hale Pohaku Amenities

Spend tonight at this facility to acclimate your body to the altitude. It is important to get over jet lag at this point and to get plenty of rest in preparation for observing. A cafeteria, recreation room, library, and laundry room are available at Hale Pohaku. Three meals are served daily (breakfast, lunch, dinner) in the cafeteria, which includes a salad bar and a drink bar, so eat well and hydrate properly before your observation. This is a great opportunity to have conversation with other astronomers from around the world.
